Ok, I’ve been away a while. Here’s what’s up:

I’m leaving for a week’s vacation to the northwest today. I got my wisdom teeth taken out on Monday, all four (one impacted). I haven’t been able to find any new poets to use for the weekly poem (can’t focus) for the last two weeks. I’m taking the GRE subject exam in two weeks. I’m applying to doctoral programs in English at 6 universities: UC Santa Barbara, USC, University of Missouri at Columbia, University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, UC Irvine, and University of Michigan. I still need to identify who I want to ask for letters of recommendation, and I need to revise one of my older papers to submit as a writing sample.
